Big changes are underway in the residential carpet cleaning market. Many large carpet mills have begun to scrutinize cleaning products, equipment, and even carpet cleaners. As of Jan 1st, 2008, many of these large mills have commissioned the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) to test cleaning products to ensure the products are safe and effective to use on carpet they sell.

Since we’re ahead of the curve here at Rendall’s, we had our popular spot cleaner “Rendall’s Certified Carpet Spotter” tested by the Carpet and Rug Institute to ensure it passed their rigorous testing standards. To use:

Scoop/Blot excess spot with a spoon or white towel
Test product in an inconspicuous area
Apply to spot being careful not to oversaturate
Gently agitate with dull metal spoon (never rub fibers!)
Blot with white towel or paper towels
Repeat if necessary
